This crucial funding helps deliver support to little ones when and where the need is greatest, such as providing support to those who need it most during the Pakistan floods in 2022. 

Throughout 2022, we watched as catastrophic climate events unfolded, including the worst flooding in the last several decades in Pakistan. In response to this, UNICEF deployed a rapid emergency outreach, including set up of tents as safe environments and used as clinics, health centres, and schools. In the first few weeks of the response UNICEF provided safe drinking water to 55,000 people, deployed 14 mobile health clinics, and set up eight new outpatient therapeutic feeding programs for children suffering from malnutrition.

Globus family of brands' $100,000 fundraising support provides the equivalent of 163,934 sachets of therapeutic food to children in need, helping fight malnutrition in emergency situations like the Pakistan floods. Pakistan has some of the highest rates of child malnutrition and low-birth weight in the world, so when the floods hit it was critical to provide children and mothers with preventative and life-saving nutritional support.
