• " Frankly, I was quite apprehensive about going for the tour with COSMOS because none of us has any experience with them. However, I am glad to inform you that the whole tour was beyond my expectations. We really had a very enjoyable 15 days travelling round Italy. Every aspect of the tour was very satisfactory from the tour director to the hotel rooms as well as the itinerary. Our tour director, Mr. Guiseppe, was very professional and a very organised person. He arranged every aspect of the tour very efficiently until we didn't experience any hiccups. Each time, before we arrived at a hotel, he would get from the hotel in advance, our room numbers. So when we arrived, we just collected our keys and went straight to our rooms. The luggage was sent to our rooms by the hotel staff. All the rooms that we stayed at the various hotels were very clean and comfortable.
  
  Mr. Guiseppe was also very knowlegeable and spoke very good English. He has a pleasant personality and attended to our requests promptly. The driver, Mr. Dina, was also a very pleasant person and a very careful driver. So the journey was very pleasant as the coach was very new, clean and comfortable. While on the journeys, Mr. Guiseppe would tell us the background information of the places that we were going, with all his jokes and witty remarks thrown in. He also arranged for stops after every hour for toilets and coffee breaks. Another thing is that both the tour director and the driver were very handsome and this made all the ladies so happy!
  
  Another wonderful aspect of the tour was the group that were with us. Although there were 39 persons on the trip, from various parts of the world (US, Canada, England, Australia, New Zealand and Malaysia), we got along very well because everyone was so pleasant, disciplined and cooperative. Mr. Guiseppe commented that ours was the best group that he has ever handled! In fact, we became such good friends during the 15 days, that we promised to visit each other in the future. Most of the members of the tour were also retired and so we had the same wave length in our conversation. We exchanged our email addresses so that we can continue to keep in touch.
  
  The itinerary was well arranged and the journey was very pleasant as we didn't have to travel very far to reach the various places. The weather was very good and kind to us. Except for one day of rain when we were at the Isle of Capri, the weather throughout the trip was cool and pleasant.
  
  If anyone were to ask me about going for a tour with COSMOS, I would fully recommend it.

• " My wife and I enjoyed our Cosmos EUROPEAN TREASURES tour (Our 8th Cosmos/Globus tour). The very experienced tour director Leo Zaal and the very professional driver Gjorge used their respective talents to further enhance the combination of excitement, joy and scenic tranquility of this well designed tour. Some of the treasures of Amsterdam, Berlin, Prague, Vienna, Ljubljana, Venice, Assisi, Rome, Florence, Pisa, French Riviera, Arles, Avignon, Beaune & Paris make for a tour that will always be special to us and have been captured by photographs. Then when you add the great value optionals, such as, local guides in many towns or cities, SCHONBRUNN PALACE & GARDENS & ST.PAUL DE VENCE, we had a fantastic time. • " I have just completed my much anticipated tour of Europe, which commenced on 4th September 2010. I chose the Best of Europe tour as it included all the places I have wanted to see for so long such as Rome, Venice, Pisa, Pompeii, Sorrento, Paris and the list goes on. Although we were constantly visiting places, even with the two days stays in some cities, I thoroughly enjoyed visiting all the ancient ruins, the Colosseum in Rome and Pisa were just fantastic. Capri was beautiful we also had the best weather, St Marks square in Venice had a king tide while we were there and flooded it so so surreal. Daniela the tour director who helped me with some special purchases in Venice - Venetian Face Masks and Florence-Leather Jackets for my son and I, Everything was great the coach itself was very comfortable and Fabio driver always had our group arriving safely and on time. A few of the hotel rooms were very small but I only slept there so it really did not make that much of a difference. The meals that were included had a good variety and no one was hungry when we finished. Overall I would highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting to see a lot of Europe in a short time, the only criticism is that the tour was not long enough and I think three nights in Rome compared to the two listed would be a great bonus. • " I would like to let anyone know what a great tour we had while in the UK, we caught our coach from London, travelled through Wales and then onto Ireland then back through England until we returned to London, what a fabulous tour, fabulous hotels, great food, entertained and always looked after by our fabulous tour director Liz and her offsider (coach driver) Ted. I haven't stopped praising your company to all our friends, the quality of our accommodation was terrific, rooms great, breakfasts were just so good, our meals when included at night were just as good, in other words, a great tour, everyone on our coach was as impressed as we were, talk about professional, words fail me. • " My wife and I just returned from our 21 day tour and felt we had to tell people exactly how we felt about our tour. Daniel Barrow, and our driver, Carlo were absolutely BRILLIANT! Carlo managed to squeeze our coach through the smallest of spaces, and get us everywhere safely and on time! no matter what the circumstances! the roads were narrow, then up come the roadworks. we are still puzzled as to how he managed to get past some corners without even scratching the bus! On the other hand our tour director, Daniel, was a wealth of knowledge. whether it be the history of an historic building or artifact, where the nearest FREE public toilets were, the times the trains and buses run, or just entertaining us with stories and jokes on those long drives between cities. we got a lot more than we expected and we will definitely be doing another cosmos tour in the future! • " Thank you Cosmos. Having recently returned from the 21 day Grand European tour, I would like to say it was the most fabulous experience. Everything about the trip, one which I had been trying to take for a very long time, exceeded my expectations on all levels. The coach was very comfortable, the mix of people friendly, interesting and hotels varied. The beautiful scenery, the history of the world in 21 days, things we do not see here in Australia except on TV, came to life. Our Tour Director Sylvia from the Netherlands, was great - her sense of humour and camaraderie, fit in really well with us Aussies. She also has a vast knowledge of all the places we visited and was eager to answer any questions asked. The other local guides included, enhanced our experience with knowledge and detail we would not have known if we did not have the local guide. Andre our coach driver, was a Maestro. Who knew you could fit a coach in so many little streets or parking places with such ease. For trip of a lifetime which this was, you need to experience everything you can in the time allotted, which includes taking advantage of the optional tours, as we saw and experienced more people, places, food and fun. Thank you for a very Grand European experience of a lifetime. I cannot say what the highlight was as each day provided more amazing sights, sounds, vistas and experiences. "

• " Wow! What a most enjoyable trip we had! My husband, Warwick & I had an absolutely magic time, particularly in Italy & Switzerland, but actually loved all of it! Our Tour Director Erik was wonderful as was also our Driver Enzo. Two very hard-working blokes! • " A huge thank you to Cosmos for making my first overseas tour such a memorable experience. Our tour director, Stefano, was always friendly, helpful and extremely knowledgeable on all the places we visited. Rocco, our coach driver, kept the bus spotless, always had a helping hand ready when disembarking the bus and at no time did I feel nervous when he was driving (no mean feat as I'm a nervous passenger when in someone else's vehicle). We had a small tour group of only 29 (all Aussies bar 1 very friendly Kiwi) which left plenty of window seats for the many photographers. Ages on tour ranged from 24-71 and everyone got on so well with one another it was like being part of a large family. I had such a great time I will definitely book with Cosmos when ready to tour again and will recommend Cosmos to anyone looking to tour overseas. • " In April 2009 my wife and I enjoyed the European Masterpiece second time around. After enjoying the tour in 2006 so much - and we all know you can't have too much of a good thing. Tour Director Daniela and Driver Rocco used their professional skills to guide and care for us. We had many laughs, enjoyed many happy returns to previously seen locations and also appreciated the individual style that each Tour Director adds to the tour enjoyment. Daniela said that she realised that this trip may be the only one that some may enjoy in this location and was doing what she could to assist everyone''s enjoyment - it sure showed. We also went on all the available Optional Tours, as from experience we know these are great value events. • " This was my first overseas trip and it was awesome! I had a fantastic time, met some lovely people and visited places I had only ever dreamed about. Our tour guide Salvatore was the best - so knowledgeable and friendly. Michele, our driver, was also fantastic. Some of the places he took that bus - goat tracks at best - yet I always felt safe with him. I will be heading overseas again in the near future and will of course choose Cosmos. • " My first Cosmos tour was undertaken in 1974. and I have been on several since then all of which have been first class. My most recent tour started 26 Aug 09 the tour guide Janos Horvath was very caring and professional sharing his knowledge at each country we visited he made the tour a real experience filled with wonderful memories, I was travelling with my sister in law aged 81 but very fit Janos was very caring towards her and explained if some of the tours would be too exhausting for her. It was a first class trip and Marcello the driver bellissimo!!! I shall always choose Cosmos "

• " Having recently returned from the Cosmos Tour 6775 "Cairo, Alexandria & The Mediterranean Tour inc The Nile Cruise Extension". I genuinely wish to say that it was a fantastic tour in fact outstanding.Egypt was never on my travel list and I would certainly have missed something wonderful if I had not taken the tour. I also send praise to Walid for his very good airport transfers and his help which were perfect. I would also add extra praise to our Tour Director Osman who performed really well especially with his in-depth knowledge of Egyptian Ancient History along with his assistance as well. • " This wonderful tour commenced for my brother Greg & I when we boarded our Qantas flight out of Brisbane bound for Los Angeles and flew on to Denver, Colorado, our start point for this tour. We met our tour guide in the hotel on the evening prior to departure and were advised of the usual ‘housekeeping’ matters prior to each tour. The coach was not full which enabled a few of the group to have a seat on their own. A luxury they appreciated! The tour group was made up with a mixture of nationalities with Australians, Americans and English folk being the majority. We got off to a flying start in the almost brand new coach ably piloted by Jack a Phoenix resident. The reason I decided on this tour was that I had not travelled this area of the USA previously, plus I wanted to see the major sights of Mt. Rushmore, Old Faithful Geyser in Yellowstone National Park. I had previously been to the Grand Canyon, Bryce Canyon and Page, so whatever else we were to see would be a bonus. This tour was my fifth Cosmos tour in the USA. As with all other tours, sometimes you may feel tired and not appreciate the 6am early wake up call, but you can be soothed by the fact that you know the new day will bring more new and exciting scenery for you. • " In November 2008, a friend and I travelled to Europe and the UK and we were booked on the 28 day tour of Europe. It was absolutely fantastic, I highly recommend it to anyone who has not been to Europe before in order to get a taste of everything. Our tour group was wonderful but our Tour director Luigi and driver Fabio were amazing. We were one big happy family and we all had the most wonderful trip.
